DR. GÖSTA KYLSBERG wrote his doctoral thesis on, “Royal Communication: The Art of Driving and Tradition. An Autoethnography About Authenticity in a Royal Art Company.” The thesis has an aesthetic perspective on the Swedish Royal Mews and discusses special value as an effective marketing tool for the Swedish monarchy, which is built upon the qualities of rich authenticity. Since 1993, he has worked with special projects and exhibitions at the Royal Mews. He was the project leader for the exhibition, “The State Coach – 100 Years in Service at the Royal Mews.”
