Attelage de Tradition Booklet

In 2022 the CAA was made the representative organization of the Association International d’Attelage de Tradition (AIAT) in the United States. The AIAT sanctions traditional driving events throughout Europe which have grown tremendously in popularity. The CAA has brought the AIAT format to the United States, and now offers this informational packet for those who wish to learn more about the AIAT and these traditional driving competitions.

Included in this handy booklet are forms and information handy for competitors and organizers alike, including a broad outline of an Attelage de Tradition driving event; the most recent AIAT-USA Guidelines; an Organizer's Checklist; Judge’s cards for each phase of an event; diagrams of AIAT performance challenges; and scoring sheets.
